Up Coming Activity Day at the Beach August 19th

Day at the Beach, I am posting this late but the activities were so fun I wanted everyone to see what we did.

What is the first thing you think of when you are heading for a Day at the Beach. The waves and the water right!



So we will start off with making an Ocean in a Bottle.

You will need:

A bottle

Water

Oil

Blue food coloring

Add water tell it is 1/3 the way full and add blue food coloring and mix. Next you will fill the bottle with oil tell the bottle is full and secure lid.

Have fun rolling the bottle back and forth watching the waves.

After we have finishing making our Ocean in a bottle, our Tiny Friends can create there beach snack.

Hawaiian Luau Out

Hawaiian Luau Out, better late then never right.

We all started out making leis and all of little Tiny Friends Girls had a great time. They all turned out very cute.



This week we had a couple of girls that helped our Tiny Friends with making their leis, they were a big help. Thank You.

And here a three of our Tiny Friends sporting there new leis.







We had so much fun making our leis we completely forgot about Limbo.

Up Coming Activity Hawaiian Luau August 5th

I am excited for our Hawaiian Luau, Leis, Hula Hop, and Limbo how could this activity be any more fun.

We will start by making Leis with string colorful paper and straws. Our Tiny Friends may need help in the begging with threading the sting threw the hole, but think it will be a great little project.



Once were dressed for a Luau, we will begin with Hula Hoping and



the Limbo.



After all that fun we will finish up with a snack. I hope to see all our Tiny Friends and wear your bright Hawaiian colors. Hope to see everyone and wanted to remind our Tiny Friends that August 12th activity is canceled sorry.

Water Olympics

It looked to be a stormy and possibly rainy on the day of our Water Olympics but we lucked out and made it threw our activity with out any rain. Thanks everyone for coming.

To start out our Tiny Friends made their Olympic Tags.



After we were all finish making our tags we put them on and the Olympics were under way with there events.

Sink and Float



Boat Races did not happen due to Misha(spelling) taking a bath in the water.

Hope very one had a good time. And I hope to see every one for the luau next week.

Up Coming Activity Water Olympics July 29th

I am so ready for this weeks playgroup with the humidity we are having. Tiny Friends we are going to have a fun Water Olympics so prepare to be wet(please bring a towel and swimsuit if you would like).




While we are arriving we will begin making our Olympic Race number for a Tiny Friends so wear. Create a design, draw a picture, write you name, and don't forget your race number.



After finishing your Olympic number you will be ready to start with our Water Olympics course. We will see everyone at 9am for the 2009 Tiny Friends Water Olympics.

Gone Camping

Thanks for coming everyone! This activity was exactly what camping should be RELAXING. We painted a few rocks and made some trail mix and just had a good old time. We had new Tiny Friends join our group this week. First we had Cassandra , Simone, Tabbitha and their mom Sherrie. Also we had Luz and her son Canaan along with Canaans Nanny and her daughter sorry I missed their names.

Mixing and Eating trail mix was a big hit. We had peanuts, chocolate candies, raisins, marshmallows, and sunflower seeds thanks Sherrie.

Oh and I almost for got out Tiniest Tiny Friend at play last week was the Lobster Friend we found under the picnic table.

Up Coming Activity Gone Camping July 15th

So who's up for camping this week! The weather has been perfect for camping or any other outdoor activity for that matter and I hope tomorrows weather is just a beautiful.

This weeks playgroup activity should be more laid back then last week with us shaking ice cream with frozen hands. We will begin with making nature crafts. We will be painting some rocks, Tiny Friends can paint a tiny bug or butterfly or make a whole rock village.



When our Tiny Friends have finished or are taking a break they can come over and make a trail mix of there own.



Hope to see all our Tiny Friends at playgroup for a much needed relaxing camping trip.
